Who We Are

Founders Danielle O’Donovan and Cathrine Agnew bring a wealth of cross sector experience to 12FOOT. They met working on the EU funded ‘Ports Past and Present Project’ and decided to found 12FOOT (If you can manage a week traveling round Wales in the same car the first time you meet in person, you know you make a great team!)

 

Danielle O’Donovan brings experience in heritage design and operation, project management, education/engagement design, project evaluation and grant writing to 12FOOT. Danielle holds a Ph.D. in Architectural History and an M.Sc. in Information Technology in Education. Danielle is interested in the area of cultural praxis, the creative space where theory and practice meet where we can gain valuable lessons for heritage, tourism, community benefit and social wellbeing. Danielle has worked at Trinity College Dublin, The Irish Heritage Trust, The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Nano Nagle Place and University College Cork.

 

Cathrine Agnew has worked extensively in not for profit, heritage, tourism and public sectors, in organsations such as University of Westminster, Genetic Interest Group, Killruddery House and Gardens, and Wexford County Council. An inveterate grant writer and event manager, her experitise is in communications, project managment and delivery. Cathrine has a masters in Film and Television, and is interested in modes of community formation, engagement and delivery.
